If your baby is anything like mine they will not want to go to sleep in their crib or moses basket EVER!!! Snuggled into mummy’s arms is perfectly cosy thank you very much they think to themselves, but for mummy’s sanity and the want of a few hours sleep I set out on a mission to find something that my baby would settle and fall asleep in, my findings…… all hail the zCush Nap Mat! 
Before I discovered this amazing product I literally spent several hours per night in a daze trying and utterly failing to deposit my little cherub into his crib. Our night time routine revolves around a bath, some massage, I feed him and when he falls asleep I would tiptoe ever so gently over to his crib and whilst holding my breath scared to make a sound would slowly lower him in. Then as I practically somersault backwards towards the door in all manner of something that would not look out of place in a mission impossible movie the eyes suddenly shoot open and the wailing begins. We then go back to the previous steps and try again and so forth for most of the evening right into the ungodly hours until the sun comes up. Can anyone else relate yet? Honestly it shocks me how my small little bundle can be in such a sound sleep and within seconds of being put down in his crib wakes and realises where he is. I have tried putting a hot water bottle in to warm the crib up, some of my clothing so he has my scent and a ridiculous amount of various cot mobiles and still he would not settle.
It was then by chance that I was googling one day for various sleep pods and bedside cribs that I came across this cute little frog nap mat sold by Nonas Baby apart from falling instantly in love with the cute little design I was really impressed with how soft and supportive it looked and the fact that it was 100% machine washable. I was very impressed with the quick delivery I received it within 2 days of ordering and when I opened the package I was delighted. It was so thick and cushioned if I could have fitted I would have crawled inside myself! My little baby absolutely loved it, he was smiling and cooing away as soon I put him in it. 
It is very easy to roll up and take with you anywhere, if you are going away to a picnic or to visit relatives, for nappy changing out and about really the list is endless of its uses. But the big test would be if I can successfully transport my little cherub to his crib without him knowing. Well I am ecstatic to tell you it worked!!!! Once I fed him and give him some cuddles I put him in the napmat and then set it on my knee nursing him. Once he fell asleep I carried him to his crib and successfully put him down and he did not even flinch. The first night I tried it he slept for four hours without waking! 
It is so easy to move him around the house in it and he doesn’t even realise he has been moved. This is great for daytime naps and when I’m trying to get some housework done as I can move him easily about with me without disturbing his sleep.
Over the past few weeks since we have got it we have used it in his pram when out and about to give him some extra cushioning. On a few day trips I was able to roll it out and let him have a little sleep on a seat and stretch out for a while, it really is so versatile. I have washed it 3 times now on a 30 degree wash and it came out like new, no colour fade or shrinkage and I even dried it on low heat in the tumble dryer. 
Where I have really been appreciative of it lately has been his hospital stay. On the first night he was admitted we got it brought up to the hospital and he immediately felt relaxed as he had something familiar and comfortable from home. After his surgery I was able to hold him in it without worrying I was going to hurt him or the tubes and leads being in the way.
