I have become a little bit obsessed with the carseat covers from Carseat Canopy lately and they have become an essential part of our everyday life. Protecting my little one from rain, wind, sun and drafts how I coped before I’m not sure! Able to be fitted in seconds to most car seats and in so many different gorgeous prints you really are spoilt for choice. They are 100% cotton exterior and a gorgeous minky soft interior. 
The fabric itself is not too heavy so can be used all year round. We have been stopped on so many occasions to ask where I have got it from.
If like myself you live in the UK or Ireland and accustomed to sporadic weather conditions (seriously mother nature throws so many hissy fits) you could leave the house in antarctic conditions and by midday you have been transported to tropical climates. 
The carseat canopy is fantastic for those sudden outbursts of rain when putting your baby in or out of the car and struggling with the plastic rain covers that come with your carseats and finding yourself drenched in the process will be a thing of the past. With the canopy you just pull over the carseat in seconds and away you go. Even on windy or sunny days it has offered great protection from the elements and even if he has just fallen asleep its nice to pull it over and give him a cozy little nest.
Carseat Canopy is based in America but offer international delivery and shipping costs around £8.99. The covers themselves are £30. If you received a family bounty pack there are voucher codes inside which entitle you to one for free and you just have to pay the shipping fee. I am usually a bit sceptical with anything that “is free” but to my surprise the product is of super quality and I received notification when my parcel was dispatched and received delivery within a week which is great as normally anything coming from the States is on the slow boat to China.
There is also the option of The Whole Caboodle Set which includes the carseat cover, minky slip cover, minky head support pillow, baby lap blanket with minky underside and sun shade with minky lining which is £60 but with your voucher will only cost £30 plus shipping. However they do have special offers on their website and even without a discount code it really is such a nice product to purchase for all you get and a great gift idea.
I have a maxi cosi cabriofix carseat and everything fitted well apart from the sun shade as the cabriofix comes with a fixed sun shade which cannot be removed but this didn’t bother me as the sunshade on my carseat blended well with my choice of cover which was Knott. If you order a cover you also get the option of ordering another for £8.50. I couldn’t resist so ordered the Chevy and Jagger covers to mix and match.
