I get asked all the time what is in my changing bag so I decided to share with you all exactly what essentials I have with me on a day to day basis. I wanted to find a bag that would be big enough to hold all my baby items, plus my purse, phone, makeup and any other bits and pieces I might need depending on where we are going that day, and also look fashionable and not typically like a changing bag.
From the moment I seen the Quilted Tote Changing Bag from Mothercare I fell in love. It looks just like a big tote or weekender bag and has lots of useful pockets and sections which are large enough to fit everything in and more. It retails for £59.99 but they do regularly have it on offer. The bag has the most stunning shade of pink and printed white bird detail and even though I have a little baby boy it didn’t bother me, this bag is as much about me as it is for him, right!!
The bag comes with its own large padded changing mat which folds up really well and holds its shape thanks to the velcro fastener and also a removable insulated bottle holder but which I don’t tend to use. Underneath there are studs which prevent the bottom of the bag being damaged when on the floor and thus preventing wear and tear. Below are some pics of what is in my bag along with a list of the items I can’t be without. It does look a lot but believe me, you’d be surprised how handy everything is, not to mention having to entertain the little one on the go….
